Program Settings
ServiceTray offers extensive configuration options that let you tailor various aspects of the application to your needs.
You can customize the application name, menu button behavior, customer and device details (available in Pro and higher editions), notification appearance (header image, title, and body message), and even inject custom OEM information into the Windows About system menu.

Program Configuration
Application Name: This setting allows you to change the application's display name. It will appear when you hover over the system tray icon.
Contact Button Link: Defines the URL that opens when the user clicks the "Contact" button in the radial menu, which appears after clicking the tray icon.
Direct Chat Link: Sets the Tawk.to Direct Chat Link for live chat support. This link is used when the "Chat" button is clicked in the radial menu.
Menu Radius (in pixels): Adjusts the size of the radial menu. The default is 185px
. For high-DPI screens or smaller displays, set it to 200px
or more for better fit.
SysInfo Button Action: Choose which application to launch when the "SysInfo" button is clicked in the radial menu. Useful for quickly displaying system information like CPU, RAM, and IP address.

Cloud Platform Details
PRO
This section is for configuring customer and device information, which can be managed through the Cloud Devices Web Panel.
These fields can be filled out regardless of your subscription tier, but only Pro and Enterprise editions will sync data with the cloud platform.
Customer Name
Enter the name of the customer who owns the device.
Customer Phone
Enter the customer's phone number.
Customer Email
Enter the customer's email address.
Device Serial Number (S/N#)
Enter the serial number of the repaired device.
ServiceTray Domain PRO ENT
Enter your assigned domain or subdomain. Required for syncing data between the app and the cloud platform.
Device Notes
A multi-line text area where you can note the issue, actions taken, or other relevant information about the repair.

Notification Settings
This section configures when and how toast notifications appear on the customer's device, including text content and images.
To update the notification header image or logo, replace the corresponding files in the ServiceTray installation directory.
Next Scheduled Notification
Select the date after which the notification should appear. For example, set it one year from the repair date to remind the user about routine maintenance.
Notification Header Caption
Enter a short title for the notification.
Notification Body Message
Enter the main message for the notification, such as:
"One year has passed since your last device maintenance. Please contact support to schedule a free health checkup."
Notification Attribution Text
Text that appears next to the application's name in the notification. Useful for contact details like a website, email, or phone number.
Enable/Disable Notification
Toggle to enable or disable notifications. If disabled, notifications will not appear, even if their scheduled date has passed.

OEM Information
PRO
This section allows you to generate a .reg
file that populates OEM data into the Windows About system menu via the registry.
Double-clicking the generated file will apply your custom OEM details to the system.

Startup Task
Configure whether the ServiceTray application should automatically start with Windows.
- Click the plus icon ➕ to add the task to Windows Task Scheduler.
- Click the minus icon ➖
to remove it.
Administrative privileges are required to modify startup tasks. Run ServiceTray as Administrator when adding or removing tasks.
